| 1. Read the King James Bible The bible is the inspired word of God. You need to read the Bible every day so that you know the truth. Start by reading the books of John, Psalms and Proverbs. 2. Pray - Prayer is so very important Pray daily and develop a personal relationship with your Savior Jesus. If you want a good relationship with anyone, you need to talk to and listen when they talk to you. It's the same with God. 3. Come to church and Bible Study If you don't have a church, you need to find a Bible believing church and get engaged with other believers. The FROC is one church you might want to consider. First you need to be discipled and taught the word of God. Second you need to be in fellowship with other believers so you can talk to those who have faced many of the same issues you may face as you begin to live the Christian life. 4. Get baptized Jesus taught that a believer should be baptized as a first step of obedience. The FROC has baptism services. 5. Look for ways to help others The happiest Christians are those who live their lives to please God by being a blessing to others. God just gave you the greatest gift of all time - eternal life.
